Kati O’Hearn is a writer, performer, and producer. She’s a multi-hyphenate, and sorry to say, a triple threat.

She is currently the Head of Development & Creative at House of Water, a women-led production company working across film, television, books, audio, and theater. In addition to incubating her own original projects, she helps shape and manage the company’s robust slate. She is an executive producer on the feature film Bolio (Winner Boston Film Festival for Best Comedy) which has been accepted into the upcoming Woodstock Film Festival.

As a comedian, Kati performs sketch comedy and improv regularly throughout Los Angeles. She is the star and creator of Pretty Fat, a one-woman comedy cabaret that tackles the absurdities of diet culture. She is currently developing her next solo show with the Elysian Theater.

Beyond comedy, Kati is drawn to stories about magic, transformation, and the natural world. In spring 2026, she co-wrote Magic to Save the World, a middle-grade fantasy novel with Josie Adams, her producing partner at House of Water.

Kati is passionate about arts education and works with organizations like Artists Bridging the Gap, Story Pirates, and Young Storytellers to help kids share their stories.

Originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, she is currently based in Los Angeles.
